Description
Metal arrow-head or knife.
Long description
Iron arrow-head or knife. The leaf-shaped blade is 38 mm long and 13 mm wide. It is slightly ridged in along the centre. This is more pronounced on one side than on the other. The arrow-head is tanged [or if it is a knife then it has a handle]. The length of the tang is approximately 138 mm. At the opposite end to the blade the tang or handle is split and bent for a length of 6 mm. Both the tip of the blade and the tip of the tang are pointed. The tang or handle is twisted at the end that becomes the blade for a length of approximately 19 mm. There are remains of an unknown substance on the blade. [MdeA 30/08/2006]
