Related Documents File - Letter from Violet Ensor to Balfour, dated 28 February 1935: '... I am ... sorry the specimens were in such a bad state. The Club came from the South Sea Islands & was given to my husband by a Mr. Williams who was a missionary among the Cannibals. I believe I could tell you where many of the things came from if you would make out a list of questions for me to answer. My husband was in West and South Africa; also Senegal. I hope you got the parcel of books of photographs. I am very happy indeed to know you will put my husband's name as collector, and I shall look forward to a visit to your museum. ...' [MOB 4/12/2001]
