- Long description
- Cardboard box and lid. Covered inside and out with dark navy blue paper. The box is lined with bright blue synthetic satin textile. The box is a presentation box which was given with the ceremonial trowel 2006.78.1 .1. It was given to Dr John Hood, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, by Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd on the occasion of the "Topping Out" of the Pitt Rivers Museum on 9th February 2006.
