- Book with 37 paper compartments.
- Long description
- Origami 'book' or file made of textile card and paper. The 'book' is opened up to reveal 37 folded and glued paper compartments. The 'book' is covered on the outside with red silk textile. The front of the book is decorated with a green ribbon trimming in the centre of which are black Chinese characters cut out of painted textile? and glued to the front. The inside of te book is decorated with printed cotton textile, mainly printed with floral designs. Most of the paper compartments are made of plain rough cream-coloured paper. The largest compartment, at the base of the inside of the book, is trimmed with orange coloured cotton textile. [MdeA 24/11/2005]
