Long description

Box [.1] with lid [.2]. Inside this box there are seven further boxes with lids [.3 - .16]. The top of the main box is inlaid with wood in a bamboo design. The lids of the other boxes fit together to form a landscape design showing Mount Fuji made using inlaid wood veneers. The main box [.1] has inlaid floral patterns on the outside and seven holes in the base. These are used to push the smaller internal boxes out. [SM (Verve) 16/03/2015]
