Description
Large and long piece of purple-dyed cloth covered with white resist patterns. [JP 26/8/2004]
Long description
The majority of the resist pattern on the cloth takes the form of a grid inside each segment of which is an abstract motif (it is hard to make out what it is derived from - possibly a shell or flower). The grid is edged along one side of the cloth and at either end with bands of other resist patterns and foliate motifs. [JP 26/8/2004]
