Description
Curved, horseshoe shaped white plastic 'Alice band' / Hair ornament made from a section of recycled plastic drainpipe. Incised and painted with the donor's name and floral motifs. [JP 17/6/2004]
Long description
The band has 71 teeth approximately 17 mm long. The 10 mm long part of the upper side of the band which has not been cut into teeth is incised in the centre with 'RACHEL' and either side of this with floral motifs. These incisions have been overpainted in orange, green, red, and pale blue paint. [JP 17/6/2004]
