Research and responses

Please note that it is not known whether this object was donated in September 1889 or October 1889 as the label only gives 1889. However, it has been added to the Petrie donation for October 1889. For all six weaving specimens see 1889.27.100 - 1889.27.106. Please also note that these seven pieces are not mentioned in the 'Additions to Museum' Notebook entry for Petrie 1889. There appears to be no record of them at all. [MdeA [DCF Court] 17/10/2003]
