Long description
Nipa leaf basket of thick strips of Nipa leaf. Leaves from the stem are woven diagonally and then knotted by twisting ends and tying them closed. Stem is cut in half so as to act as a bag for storing fish and crabs. [RM [OPS move] 23/11/2016]
