The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2012 as: “Aki no kuni Itsukushima Momiji dani zenkei”, Panorama of Momiji dani (=valley of maple trees) in Itsukushima, Aki province. [MJD 12/10/2012]
