The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2012 as: “Shiobara onsen shinzu”, map of Shiobara hot spring. “Meiji 22 nen”, Meiji 22 (1899). [El.B 04/05/2012]
