- Deep maroon coloured sarong with small chequed pattern created by overlapping narrow green, white and blue stripes.

- The ends of the length of textile have been stitched together to form a tube of cloth. The first metallic gold coloured label is rectangular and is printed in black with an image of a man with two heads and the words 'orang kepala dua [translates as two headed man]. Ditanggung Tidak Luntur. Daft. 53410 & 109025. Tenunan Indonesia Asli'. The second small metallic gold paper label is round and is printed in red and black with 'suba jaya. Kwalitet. Istimewar [translates as 'Special Quality']. Orang Kepala Dua.' The printed label repeats the motif of the man with two heads, the text however is not clear. This sarong was purchased packaged in a clear plastic bag - see 2003.69.45 .2. With two metallic gold coloured paper labels adhered to one side and a printed label in blue ink. [JP 4/4/2003]
