Udder bag strap for camel
Long description
Udder bag strap for camel made of Draecaena sp. leaves combined with strips of loin cloth and canvas. Ropemaking and weaving. [RJ 10/3/2003] Description added by [RJ 10/3/2003] - Two pieces of rope made of Draecaena sp. leaves twisted together with strips of burgundy coloured cloth. Two ends are tied in a knot and the other two are fed through two strips of material with loops stitched into them. One strip of material is a twill woven white cotton and the other is palm fibre wrapped with blue and white rags arranged in stripes. The two ends of the rope threaded through them are frayed.
