- Donkey saddle cloth, brown in colour. Square shaped pad of quilted, double layer of weft faced plain weave. Leather edged and stitched. This is made on a vertical loom and goes over the padded saddle to protect it from being rubbed. [RJ 3/2/2003]

2003.10.55.2Conical coiled palm frond lid to go with basket 2003.10.55 .1. Some of the fronds have been dyed purple, blue and green although the dye has faded. Tip is flat. The underside of the lid is undecorated coiled palm frond. There is a circle of coils on the underside of the lid.
