Huipil blouse, brocaded all over and with crochet sewn around the collar and armholes.
Long description
Huipil blouse, brocaded all over and with crochet sewn around the collar and armholes. Made of two long woven panels, folded and stitched up the sides and along the centre seams, with a slit left open for the neck hole. The garment is black (which can only be seen at the very bottom of the blouse) with multi-coloured brocade in various geometric patterns. The crochet work collars and cuffs are in shades of blue and are stitched onto the garment. [CF 5/2/2003]
