- Long description
- Model house with open sides, the frame is made from carved wooden poles secured together with string and a palm leaf roof. Hung from the wooden frame are two hammocks; a rectangular basketry lidded box; a bunch of feathers; two gourd containers; three square basketry containers; two round basketry containers; a piece of wood with a perforated piece of metal attached, perhaps a grater of some kind; and two basketry implements. The model house [.1] contains the following detachable parts: two basketry mats or fans [.2-.3]; a rectangular basketry box [.4]; two carved wooden benches or tables [.5-.6]; three paddles [.7-.9]; a steering oar [.10]; a bow [.11] with two arrows [.12-.13]; a mixture of cooking and storage utensils made from clay [.14-.25]; and four clay figures [.26-.29].
