- Description
- Miniature spinning top of varnished wood, with saucer-shaped body and 'Nice' written in black ink on the top-side. [JP 13/2/2003]
- Long description
- This is one of fifteen miniature spinning tops [1989.44.130.1 to .15] stored in a small square basketry box [1989.44.130.16]. Nine of the pieces have 'Nice' written on them in the same hand and are saucer-shaped. The remaining six pieces have nothing written on them at all and have round bodies. They are probably gaming pieces but it is not clear if they are from the same set or not. [JP 13/2/2003]
