Description
Ceramic bowl; Samian ware
Long description
Shallow samian ware dish. Slight remains of a raised base. Inner surface contains two concentric circles. The inner of the two is made up of a radiating linear pattern. The centre of the inside is slightly raised. The glaze on the outer surface has come away. An oyster shell and coral/ calcareous residue adheres to the inner surface. [CG [Excav. PR] 31/10/2013]
