Description
Waist or neck ornament consisting of two strings of metal beads. [MdeA 10/5/2002]
Long description
Waist or neck ornament consisting of two strings of metal beads. The beads are made from gold coloured metal sheeting which has been folded to form pleated circular beads. In between each bead there is a section of gold metal wrapped yarn and purple cotton yarn. The two strings are joined at either end to a cone shaped section of ?textile bound with gold metal wrapped yarn and red foil. A length of several purple yarns extends at the end of the two cone sections. These yarns would be tied together to attach the ornament around the wearer's neck or waist. [MdeA 10/5/2002]
