Painted hide shield. Oval in shape and curved. There are two parallel lines of stitching along the length of the shield, the edges are bound in hide. On the underside there is a wooden bar bound to the shield, this forms the handle. There are traces of black and red pigment on the front of the shield. [AB [OPS Move] 16/8/2016]
