Hide shield. It is oval in shape and curved. On the underside there is a band of wood stitched down the centre of the shield, the handle is carved from this. There is hide stitching around the edge of the shield. It is painted with black, white and red pigment in triangular and rhombus designs. [AB [OPS Move] 15/8/2016]
