Research and responses

The 'burrows' at Ishigo were explored by Munro in October 1915. There is a photo of Munro emerging from one of these burrows in the Royal Anthropological Institute archives (MS 249/20/1.9b). The photos were donated to the RAI in 1963 by B.Z. Seligman. [AS 21/10/2011]
