- Weighing beam. Wooden bismar with carved rounded rectangular weighted section and narrowing cylindrical beam. The narrow end of the beam has been perforated through which a loop of cord is tied from which a fishing hook is suspended. [MOBB [OPS move] 16/2/2017]
- Long description
- From conservation card by Emma Hook 3.2.1996: Wooden bishmar with large iron nails driven into the weighted end for added mass. A white metal hook (fish hook) is attached to the other end by plant fibre. Iron nails mark the scale along the length of the beam. (Emma Hook 08.02.1996) [FC 27/03/2009]
