Long description
Paddle with leaf-shaped blade decorated to look like a fish and crutch-ended haft, inlaid with shell. The fish is partially painted black and is inlaid with mother in pearl at the eyes, gills and a small circle at the tail. The end of the haft is 'crutch-shaped', with two points that project away from the paddle and a 'U' shape between them as well as two points that flare outwards and project in the direction of the paddle.
