Long description
Young man’s cloth of woven white cloth, with orange [faded from red], black and white stripes at the selvedges. The cloth is constructed from four panels, stitched together. The two central panels are plain white. The two outer panels are striped black, white, orange, white and black flanked by a broad orange stripe and finished with black stripe at the selvage. The warp ends have been twisted and knotted to form a very short fringe at each end. There are two longer bunches of orange and black tassels at the joins between the white and edge panels.
