Related Documents File - Copy of a letter from Ruth Vyse to Elizabeth Edwards dated 9 January 1984 "...I've been having a quick look at UDC/C/2/4 which is listed briefly as 'correspondence etc. re Jennes expedition 1911 - 17'. It appears to consist of the papers of R..R. Marett who was secretary of the committee for Anthropology. They cover the years c. 1911 - 20 and contain a number of letters from Jenness. The papers deal with his expedition to New Guinea, 1911 - 12 and a further expedition in the Canadian Arctic, c. 1913 - 14 of which Jenness was a member. They also cover Marett's efforts which were pursued while Jenness was on active service during the second half of the First World War. There's a short paper by Jenness on the Ethnological Results of the Canadian Arctic Expedition..." [no more exists of the letter] [EB 7/11/2001]
