1996.17.138.4[1 of ] Five square pottery dishes with a flat base and lip on the rim. Depicted within the bowl are panoramic scenes of the famous Zen stone garden of Ryoanji Temple. This dish is decorated with a rounded, triple mound and a flat grey 'stone' in the foreground on the right and white clouds above this on a cream ground.
