Description
Ceremonial staff of iron. [BS [OPS move] 7/8/2017]
Long description
Iron staff with a cylindrical shaft. A coronet formed from two twisted rings at right angles to one another at the top of the shaft, and a spear-pointed section at the bottom end. The shaft is perforated in two places, and at the upper perforation there are two short upturned ornamental rods with thickened conical ends that branch out of the main shaft. The shaft is bound with a spiral band of brass between the coronet and the upturned branches. [BS [OPS move] 7/8/2017]
