Wooden food bowl with a protruding base or lip at the bottom. Elongated oval shape with a carved lid that is secured by a strong cord of twisted fibre. The lid is decorated with engraved horizontal lines running around it, with four raised knobs in the centre and a further two at each end by the perforations with linear incised decoration. When the lid is removed and the inner lip apparent, the vessel has a stepped effect. [RM [OPS move] 7/10/2016]
