Research and responses

This coin is as likely to have been used in England as in any other part of the British Isles and I have therefore included it in the English ethnography project [AP 25/07/2006]

According to the website Pictures of UK Coins by Tony Clayton "... many of these small coins were holed for use on charm bracelets" [http://www.ukcoinpics.co.uk/phalf.html accessed 03/03/2010] . [MJD 03/03/2010]
