Description
Inverted triangular neck ornament. [LKG 23/07/2009]
Long description
Inverted triangular neck ornament. The strap of the neck ornament consists of a double row of light blue beads with spaced out columns of three white beads running beneath. The columns of white beads are roughly separated by bead's width intervals. At the middle of the strap the white beads have been extended down to form an inverted triangle (a triangle with a downward facing point). Around its edge this triangle is bordered with two rows of white beads - without any spaced intervals. These are followed by rows of green beads - spaced at one bead's width apart which run along the two sides of the triangle's point, but not the top edge. There follows a further row of white beads, then a row of red beads - spaced at one bead intervals - along the two sides of the triangle making the point. The beadwork is then mostly of spaced white beads surrounding two smaller triangles. The top triangle is red and begins at beneath the paired row of light blue beads on the neck strap. The green triangle begins directly beneath the red, both are pointing downward. At both ends of the neck strap is a single metal button in the shape of a shallow cone. [LKG 23/07/2009]
