- Cowrie shell with top missing. This shell is the smallest of the four [1971.15.1298 .1-.4] strung onto the thread. Its topside is missing and there is a small hole in the top surface of the exposed inner coil. The shell is badly discoloured showing areas tinged with ochre, greys and brown as well as white.
