Long description
Cowrie shell with top missing. The shell is quite badly eroded and its surface texture is particularly rough. It is mottled with greys and ochre markings and in one half of the interior a reddish-brown substance is wedged between the inner wall and the exposed central spiral. The top of the central spiral has also been eroded and a section of its topside is missing. [LKG 17/07/2009]
