Long description

Necklace of four rows of small glass beads, arranged in blocks of colour: red, white, green, black and blue. The beads vary in size, with the dark green being the smallest and the jade green and white the largest. The necklace is predominantly red, white and green. There is only one blue section, at the far end, where the four strings of beads meet the leather spacer. On the outer edges of the necklace, beyond the spacers are short sections of large white beds, threaded on to two strings at each end. These pairs of strings at each end have been formed by twisting together the four strings which passed through the spacers to form two pairs. Once passed through these large white beads the strings have been knotted and finally twisted together into one thick string. From one end to the other the colour order of the necklace is as follows: white, [spacer] dark green, smaller white beads, red, small white, red, jade green, white, red, white, [spacer], white, red, white, jade green, red, white, black, jade green, smaller white beads, dark blue, [spacer] white.
