Black pottery vessel, ornamental bowl on an openwork stand with looped handle. For lid see [1942.13.202 .2]. [JMC 12/11/2019]
Long description
Black pottery vessel, oval bowl with ornamental projection in place of spout and loop handle capped with grooved oval thumb rest. Below the rim is a relief frieze of a row of squatting headless figures joined at their elbows and knees. There is an openwork stand of seven spider leg feet on disc base. The handle is flaking, and the rim is missing two chips. A circular concave-convex lid with fruit stalk handle [1942.13.202 .2] is associated with this object, but is not located with it.
