Description

Long description
Pipe with wooden stem and black pottery bowl in the shape of a squatting human figure. The black pottery pipe bowl is in the shape of a modelled squatting human figure with hands raised to its chin and wearing a curved headdress with hatched geometric designs. The pipe socket has a plain broad rim and cross hatched decoration below. The wooden pipe stem is cylindrical shaped and curves away from the pipe bowl towards the mouthpiece. The surface of the pipe stem is covered with irregular nodules which are probably thorn stumps. [CW [OPS Move] 23/9/2016]
