Long description
Stool carved from one piece of wood. It has a circular, concave seat and a single, square-sectioned stem which diverges into four splaying, triangular-sectioned legs. The underside of the seat is decorated with fields of parallel grooves, the top of the stem with deeply carved chevrons in a mirrored pattern, and the outer faces of the legs with longitudinal bands of zigzags and triangular fields of parallel grooves. There is a triangular perforation at the top of the stem. [JC [OPS Move] 10/5/2017]
