2000.55.34

One of a pair of cast iron stirrups. The treads of the stirrups are roughly circluar and on this stirrup is badly corroded. Each stirrup has a dark brown leather attached through a space at the top. The stirrups are part of the lot 580/1 which includes saddle 2000.55.32. It is not clear whether these stirrups were to be used with this saddle. [MdeA 16/5/2001]
