Long description
Bamboo quiver with attached basketry lid decorated with stone talismans. For associated bolts/arrows and stones see 1923.85.551 .2 - .11. The quiver is cylindrical and the lid is rounded at the top. The twisted plant fibre strap is secured at the base by ?resin. The two stone hunting talismans are secured to the quiver by a plaited band of cane. There are three opposite pairs of perforations on the body of the quiver, through which wooden sticks have been placed. [AF [OPS move] 25/9/2017]
