- Axe with broad semicircular blade - narrows by two incurving arcs to blade shaft. Shaft narrows to a pointed spur which passes through the wooden axe handle. The blade is loose. The axe handle is studded with metal (?brass) studs arranged in rows. The head of the handle is an elongated swelling. [FB 10/07/2014]
