Hoe with curved iron blade set into a wooden shaft. The shaft is rectangular-sectioned and slightly curved. The blade is crescentic, having a convexly curved cutting edge and two concavely curved sides which produce the long rectangular tang. The tang is slotted into a rectangular perforation in the head of the shaft. The blade is slightly convex and has an incised asterisk on the underside. [JC [OPS Move] 21/12/2016]
