- Long description
- Lengta groin cover; decorated with red weaving & painted dogs and cockerels (unknown dark brown pigment). The groin cover is made from a natural coloured cotton, the edges stitched with black cotton. The bottom portion of the groin cover is decorated on one side with a band of red woven design, above and below which are bands of painted linear designs surmounted with painted dogs and cockerels in a dark brown pigment. At the top of the groin cover is a band of cotton textile to secure the groin cover around the waist. The groin cover is weighted with four brass fasteners, two on either side. [FB 08/08/2014]
