- Rectangular hide shield with flared and pointed corners. The shield is decorated with ?iron strips threaded through the shield to create chevron designs along the length of the shield either side of the central hide covered wooden rib. On the reverse the wooden handle is carved from the rib section and bound with strips of hide. [CW [OPS move] 17/8/2016]
