Long description
Ceremonial carved wand, single bladed paddle shape with coiled snake on handle. The wand is decorated with white, black and red pigment. The snake is coiled along the length of the wand. The narrow end of the wand is carved with two short projections (?animal ears). The back is predominantly painted with red pigment. [SM (Verve) 06/06/2013]
