The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2011. A receipt of payment for 15 objects including wooden amulets, an image of “Konpira gongen” a box, paper, etc. Total sum is “Ichi en nanaju san sen” - 1.73 yen. (Two lines on the left) “Hashikura yama” - Mt. Hashikura. “Meiji nijuyo nen juichi gatsu nijuichi nichi” - 21st November, Meiji 24 (1891). [SM 23/11/2011]
