Long description
Spear, with long narrow leaf-shaped, iron blade with cusped points below. The wooden shaft is ornamented with two clipped areas of pink dyed goat's hair with a pair of narrow bands of black in the centre of each ornament, which have coalesced into wider single bands. The lower area has red-dyed hair fringe. Socketed iron butt spike also attached to the end of the shaft. [ASh [OPS move] 24/8/2018]
