- Flax sword. Carved from one piece of wood the blade is broad, flat and slightly curved with a blunt hook at the distal end. The handle has a straight grip and an ogee guard. "K.N.D. 1859' is painted on one side of the blade. [BS [OPS Move] 3/5/2017]
