Description
Wooden foot rest for a stilt, highly polished and carved with conventionalised human figure.
Long description
Carved with tapering sides terminating in a point. The footrest is decoratively carved with a kneeling human figure with hands resting on stomach. The figure is wearing a sloping headdress, the back of which forms a curved section onto which the foot of the stilt wearer would be placed. The body of the figure and the headdress are decorated with concentric grooves and chevrons. [CW [OPS Move] 31/5/2017]
