Mechanism from a pistol tinder box. Iron. There is no obvious trigger, and the striking plate is horizontal and part of the tinder pan. On one side there is a large circle through which a squared axle passes. Just next to it is the head of a ?nut or lug which has been incised with radiating lines. [MOBB [OPS move] 29/07/2016]
