1932.88.281Pottery lamp of unbaked grey clay. The lamp itself is a bowl shaped saucer lamp with rounded expanding sides and a single pinched wick nozzle. The lamp originally sat on top of one end of the handle which was flattened for the purpose. The rest of the handle is round in section and has been grooved periodically to appear balustered. There is a separate finial which once fit into the end of the handle. It is cylindrical with a band of rectangular indentations around the body, and topped by a knob with an expanded base.
